Chronicle Books Presents: The Living Infinite
Back in 2019, I was approached by Chronicle Books to Illustrate a game board, cover, and game pieces for the Living Infinite: A Game of Submarine Survival. The game is an undersea adventure where players work together as scientists gathering materials from the ocean floor to repair their sub, while one or two players move as sea monsters, hunting the scientists down through the inky depths. I was given an early prototype, and played the game multiple games to help inform the design of the game.
Chronicle wanted somewhat of a B-Movie Poster vibe, featuring one of the sea monsters, underwater scientists, and the sub on the box cover. The game board is printed on fabric, with wood, acrylic, and metal game pieces.
