This was a quick project, but a fun one. The ask was to create a feature illustration for an article on how aging-related diseases can often be tied to un-noticed chronic low-grade inflammation. The article discusses how inflammation is often misunderstood by the public, but also by scientists. It was interesting to learn more about the science behind this, and then try to re-interpret it into visual form.
